The 2015 National Basketball Association Draft will get underway on Thursday, June 25 at 7:00 p.m. eastern at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. It will be televised nationally by ESPN.
The Boston Celtics have four picks throughout the two-round draft, but don’t make their first selection until the 16th overall pick and will make a second first-round selection at 28th overall. Boston also have picks in the second round at 33rd and 45th overall.
It does look like Boston is attempting to move up in the draft and has talked with teams about both of their first-round selections.
“We’re having discussions to move up with both of our picks in the first round,” Danny Ainge said Tuesday morning to ESPN. “We’re trying to move up with at least one of them. I think there will be some movement.”
Unlike our MLB Draft tracker a few weeks ago, the NBA allows trades of draft picks and players during the draft. So we will keep track of those as well.
